In honor of the 100th anniversary of World War I and to give gratitude to all veterans, FCCPR Peace Task Force is co-hosting  a free screening of “Grand Illusion” (1937) by French director Jean Renoir on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in All Soul’s Unitarian Church (Hope Street entrance). It is an absorbing tale of prisoners of war, and reveals that significant borders are not those between countries, races, religions, sexes or ages but perhaps, those between classes. In a sense it is a call to weigh friendship and good company over nationalism, and for all people to be accepted as comrades.
