Join us and our partners up and down the Valley as we attempt to cover seven overpasses in Franklin County on May 23rd from 4:00 – 6:00 PM. This is a coordinated action that will start in CT and extend as far north as possible in VT. Join us by clicking on this map and then selecting the overpass that you would like to cover. In the popup to the left of the map, click on the link and sign up on Mobilize. If you zoom in on the map, you can see details about suggested parking.
Logistics: We will have a coordinator at each site who will make themselves known. Some overpasses have only one sidewalk, so that is where we will be. It is perfectly legal to stay on the sidewalk. We should in no way disrupt traffic. There is some question as to whether or not we can attach signs to overpass fences, but if we can, you may want to bring short bungee cords and/or rope. We will have to play it by ear. Needless to say, if police officers tell us not to do it, we won’t. All FCCPR events and actions are nonviolent and all participants are responsible for their own safety (and that of others). Furthermore, we will strive to avoid confrontation with anyone. Obviously, no bathrooms, but you may want to bring water and/or snacks. And, don’t forget to take pictures! Send no more than three to info@fccpr.us if you like. Please bring signs with few words and large letters. If you’re coming with friends, consider making one letter per poster board for multiple people to hold, or, If there aren’t enough people to hold each poster, they could be tied together with string.

Parking: We have a few suggestions for parking which are indicated on the map. In general, we believe that parking will not be too hard to find. You may need to walk a bit, so we would advise against any really heavy signage.
