[FCCPR’s] David Greenberg, a member of the new [CD-1 Progressive] Coalition, said he’s not sure how vulnerable Neal is at this point…For now, the coalition aims to keep a focus on what Neal is getting done. “To make it easier to know what he’s doing or not doing. There will be a lot of people watching,” Greenberg said.

The CD-1 Progressive Coalition, which includes FCCPR, announced Tuesday that it will convene an evening town-hall-style event at the Massachusetts Green High Performance Computing Center.
Organizers said they have asked Neal to take part in the event, which will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Feb. 22, at 100 Bigelow St., but have yet to hear back from his office.

Gfld Rally Calls Out Trump on Fake National Emergency
More than 60 people came out to the Greenfield Common Monday, Feb. 18, at a noon rally called by FCCPR in conjunction with a national call to protest Trump’s state of emergency. Trump’s declaration of a state of emergency is another attempt to do an end run around Congress and the majority of people who see Trump’s action for what it is: racism plain and simple.
