How can you help our local immigrants? Who is here to advocate for them and how are they helping? Franklin County Continuing the Political Revolution (FCCPR) will be holding a “Rally for Immigrants Rights” on Saturday June 28 th at 2:00-3:30 on the Greenfield City Hall steps at the Commons. It will be a time to inform the public about the needs of our Franklin County neighbors and to hear about what is in place for them. How do they benefit our lives now and
what can we do to maintain their contributions? How can we help them feel safe and valued?
In addition to speakers and music, the event will end with a standout on the Greenfield Common, with signs more than welcome. Speakers will include our MA State Senator Jo Comerford, John Miller (Wheaton College professor), Rabbi James Greene, Attorney Buzz Eisenberg, and Spoken Word Artist NbsMalay. Music by Annie Hassett and the Expandable Brass Band.
