People Power Is Focus of Today’s FCCPR Conference
Well over a hundred people attended FCCPR’s Municipal Socialism Conference at Greenfield Community College today. Workshops and discussions ranged from affordable housing to broadband to public education.

[FCCPR’s] David Greenberg, a member of the new [CD-1 Progressive] Coalition, said he’s not sure how vulnerable Neal is at this point…For now, the coalition aims to keep a focus on what Neal is getting done. “To make it easier to know what he’s doing or not doing. There will be a lot of people watching,” Greenberg said.

Progressive Coalition invites US Rep. Richard Neal to Friday town hall in Holyoke | masslive.com
The CD-1 Progressive Coalition, which includes FCCPR, announced Tuesday that it will convene an evening town-hall-style event at the Massachusetts Green High Performance Computing Center.
Organizers said they have asked Neal to take part in the event, which will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Feb. 22, at 100 Bigelow St., but have yet to hear back from his office.
